Postby pistyll » Mon Jul 23, 2007 2:32 pm

Hi,
I am in the market for a reasonably cheap and cheerfull gamers case that can accomodate plenty of fans for decent airfloor or maybe i will transplant my watercooling setup in it!! I have been considering an Aspire Infinity gamers case it seems to tick all the right boxes for me just wondering if anyone has one of these cases and can comment on it please??

I love my Antec Nine Hundred, though many people don't like it. Not sure what it's selling for these days, but even on air cooling my processor runs nice and cool.

The one reason I don't like the Nine Hundred is the lack of interor space. If it was a full tower case, It'll be one golden case.

For air cooling, I'm not sure what I would need more room for. I have a huge CPU cooler, an 8800GTX (w/ room for a second), and room for plenty of hard drives. Obviously, watercooling would be tight, but the new 1200 that Nate shot at Computex will take care of that.

I have to agree with DaIceMan. I have plenty of room in my Antec 900 case and I'm using a Zalman 9500. Runs nice and cool, (all my fans are set on 'medium') but you will hear the fans.

How cheap are we talking about? We can help you better if you can give us ballpark budget.

Keep your eyes on the ads. I got mine from Fry's for $79. a few weeks back with no rebates to hassle with. Right now it's $119 at Fry's so just shop around and wait a bit. It's definitely worth the money.

Can the Antec 900 fit the biggest GPU's, ie, 3870x2 or 8800Ultra?

Take a look at the COOLER MASTER RC-690, can be found for around 75-80. Not as flashy as the Nine Hundred but easier on the wallet.

anyone here know if the 900 can fit a 10.5-11 inch card? i would REALLY imagine it would, because my antec lanboy can(if i put the HDD on the top of the 3.5 cage, and mabie have to mod the cage) and i believe the nine hundred is much larger
