Thank You Ken!
I asked because my daughters BF is having trouble installing any new programs. iTunes and Adaware in particular!
He's getting a windows installer error. He went to MS and downloaded the latest windows installer but it didn't make any difference.
So now he's considering a repair to see if that will make a difference.

If you Ken or anyone else has any ideas what the problem may be feel free to let me know!

Try different memory or try removing all but 1 stick and try the stuff again. I had these same problems after OC'ing my computer and the memory went whacky afterwards....dunno why since I didnt touch the memory timings :?

Never hurts to try :)
