8800gt wrong clock and mem reported

Postby amigaman » Sun Jan 13, 2008 11:26 am

I have a Gigabyte 8800gt 700mhz. It reports clock at 450 in ntune and rivatune. The mem speed is also lower. I try to change and it goes back to 450. When I choose factory settings it goes to 450. When I choose best setting it goes a little lower. Unable to change fan speed and make setting keep. Any ideas?

Can you give us a GPUz screen shot please to double check the factory settings.

Ok, here's that screenshot. Looks like it may be ok. Just reporting wrong?

Looks like it could just be a rivatune (did you mean rivatuner?) issue. Might not support the new cards yet, or if you don't have the latest version, your version doesn't support the new cards, try the latest one.

I like the background to your screenshot

The cards are supported but the driver version might not be......;)

I have a 8800GT and it works fine with the driver version and OS that I'm using.
