But I'm not a newbie (whines Rabbit) j.k. :)

My 8800GT goes faster anyways (Rabbit professes with no "pouty face" or hint of jealousy at all  )

Why, there happens to be a review of the thing right here: http://www.legitreviews.com/article/656/1/

The ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 graphics card requires a minimum 500W or greater system power supply for single card operation. Since the board power usage is less than 225W only the two 2x3 PCI Express power connectors are requierd in normal operation. The 2x4 PCI Express power connector may be needed for overclocking, so keep this in mind if you plan on overclocking. For running a pair in CrossFireX it is unknown what the requirements will be as ATI has not made this information public since the CrossFireX drivers are still in development.

looks like no overclocking for me(GPU anyways)

my next system is gonna be a tad meatier than my current

Athlon 64X2 3800, 2GB RAM, PCIe (for one thing) This freakin monster, Large SATA HDD, should outperform by a tad 8)

i thought only 1k series cards were FAH supported

edit- and PSU calc says i only need 454W w/OCed CPU @ 2700MHz, with system and CPU @100%, at 10% Cap Aging, which this PSU has no aging at all yet(been used a total of two weeks or so depending on how much justin used it, but he said he didnt)
but i used two 3870s Crossfire, i hope this thing will be about the same [-o<

Congrats! Personally, I'm glad it was a regular also!

No offense to the newbies from me either, but he deserves it more.

How about I give you my address Skiier kid, and then I will forward it on to you. Though it may look more like a 7600 than the 3870 once you get it. :)
