3dmark 06

hey guys havent bin around alot but just did some upgrading on my pc i had a old celeron cpu in my pc got rid of that my 8600gt and i added a xtra 1gb of ram so spec's are now as follow cpu: e4600stock 2.4 ram:2048mb pc 4200(533mhz) graphiccard:pny 8800gt stock speed HD:80gb its a budget system. i scored 1st time i runned 3dmark was a 9088 score and second time i overclocked the card for a bit to 650gpu core and ram 940 just to howmuch i would get and i got 92088 scores seemed so high didnt taught i would of hit that high in 3dmark .are these correct?

seems high, most likely it was a glitch

i notice inside my cpuz it says my chip is conroe instead of allendale could that have anything to do with it but i will run 3dmark06 again now to see what its is now.

There is no way that is accurate...NO WAY! I would guess that your overclocks would yield maybe 1-2000 more at the most.

BTW, that link does not lead to your results.

its not 90288 guys i missed and put and extra number i just never taught you guys would of even think that way instead of someone asked if i made a mistake by putting that high number i just meant 9288 wow thats all i can say is wow.accidents do happen next time just correct me me instead of going with the flow.

So, you only scored 80 points more then? If so, then that is highly believable, but not even remotely remarkable. :mrgreen:

I have a test rig with an 8800GT (600mhz) an E6750 (2.66Ghz) and 2Gb 800mhz ram that scores around 10,400 when its all at stock. I've overclocked it, but never benchmarked it when overclocked. Im thinking it would score closer to 12k with the cpu at 3.2Ghz and the video card at 700Mhz.

actually the overclock got me to 9288 which is a 200 points increase from my 1st score i just didnt taught the cpu would almost allowed me to almost hit 10k but mayb when i get a new mobo ill overclock it because am already happy with the speeds and how utilizes the full power of my 8800gt and besides its the in game play we all worry about.
