Rexus PST-3 20/24pin Power Supply Tester

The Rexus Power Supply Tester is constructed of sturdy aluminum and allows you to check to see if a power supply is working properly in seconds. An easy to read LCD display on top of the tester shows you the detailed voltage information on each of the voltage rails, and the Power Good (PG) value in milliseconds. Not bad for something that costs ~$20 at numerous retailers.

Matt,

I did check things with a volt meter and I'll tell you not to toss the volt meter out the door any time soon...

On the +3.3V rail the Power Supply Tester Showed 3.3V while my Volt meter showed 3.396V.

On the +12V rail the Power Supply Tester Showed 12.0V while my Volt meter showed 12.07V.

On the +12V2 rail the Power Supply Tester Showed 12.1V while my Volt meter showed 12.06V, so that one was actually right.

It looks like it's right within 0.1V, which isn't bad for $20... Don't replace the volt meter though.

rounds to the tenths, which in most cases should be good enough, I would think.

I have a tester, but it just has lights on it that show you if it is working - the readout on this one is NICE!

I agree. I have one that basically says pass/fail, but I'd like to know why and this one might do the trick. How was it on the molex/sata/pcie connectors? Or did you not try any of those?
