Far Cry 2 Video Game Drivers

With Far Cry 2 launching tomorrow many of you might be picking up the game title and may be wondering what the best driver is... Well no driver is out yet that is 100% optimized for the game, but keep your eyes open for these

NVIDIA Users - Forceware 180.42 drivers are still a month or so out, but these are the ones you need and they work great (sorry can't give them ouy or the game)

ATI Users - You need a hotfix with the latest drivers. You can download it today here - http://support.ati.com/ics/support/defa ... onID=38664

This hotfix:

* Improves performance for the DirectX 9 version of Far Cry 2 on CrossFire™ compatible systems
* Improves performance for the DirectX 10 version of Far Cry 2 on both single and CrossFire™ compatible systems

Just figured I'd let you know about this a little bit early as the AMD Radeon HD users can patch up tonight and just install the game tomorrow and play.

Nate, any word on when the NVIDIA drivers are coming out? I'm using the latest and the game crashes to desktop every time on level load. It's not like my PC is underpowered. :x I'm pissed.

I finally got it to work...any AA setting above 2x causes the issue. Weak.
