its so big. haha. i gotta go microatx. setting up a sweet water cooling for a micro i think would be immpressive as well as fitting everything in there.

There's a pre-modded version of your case with water cooling out already. You might want to take a look at it for some ideas............... :shock:

I've also got the same case that I'm building a rig for my wife in. They are a great little case.

Man, when I thought I've seen everything, something else comes out and blows my mind, lol. A SFF with watercooling?? That's nuts! It looks good too, might I add. Definitely a consideration if you need to save space and want watercooling for those great OC's

For a matx case they really are pretty nice, removeable MoBo tray and all aluminum. They even say that the carrying handle will support 40lbs...................... :shock:

And all for a measly $299, lol. Not bad if you ask me...It comes with the radiator, right? Because I saw it's not installed, but I wondered if it came with the case? If so, that's really good, and would probably be a good setup for LAN parties, since you can carry it around place to place, and it looks good!! Hmmmmmmmm....................

ah yes, that is a sweet price for a case with a fairly decent PSU and water-cooling kit...sure you gotta buy the waterblock for your individual components you want cooled, but hey, well worth it still, plus you have good options with blocks....I'm stuck between Koolance and Swiftech for my desktop build, and I'm going with the Exos 2 system by Koolance for my watercooling. You have a better suggestion than one of these, bio?

The new Koolance systems are pretty nice and they have gotten real good reviews. You should get good performance out of it, although I do find them a little pricey, got they have great quality products and are super easy to get up and running.

sounds like a winner to me; yeah, they are pricey: $320 for the Exos 2 setup, which includes the temp monitor, pump, radiator, tubing, and coolant. What's REALLY gonna cost me are the blocks for my CPU, GPU, NB, HDD, and RAM. But, like I always say, go big or go home, lol

I started modding the outside today, first up is the top panel. I went with a simple dual window to set off the dual radiators of my water cooling system.

First up the before top panel;

Sort of plain isn't it................ :o

Now for the after photo, but before I put the window in (which I still have to do).

Much better looking if I do say so myself..................... :lol:

And this is what it'll look like installed.

Cost a whole $15. But I did the programming so it was just a load and go...............

that is frickin sweet looking, smooth edges and all!!!!! personally though, I like the satisfaction of cutting up my fingers and still having rough edges knowing I did it myself....to each his own I guess, I might get my side panel CNC'd or wet cut, but the plexiglass is all mine, heheheheheh :lol:

I normallly do all my own cutting but I just by chance came across this place that does the water jet cutting. Both the owners of the company are big into computers and such and when I mentioned to them about doing this case mod it was like come on down, we can do it better, faster and a lot cleaner than any other type of cutting. And they made me a deal I couldn't pass up. And the material on the UFO case is 3.6 mm thick which makes it extremely hard to get clean straight cuts by hand.
Here's a shot of a 120mm fan mount bracket I made out of some scrap aluminum for my Cooler Master case, all done by hand with my trusty dremel. It came out pretty nice, but the material is about half as thick as the UFO panels.

Very nice dremel work there; makes for a good case mod, that 120mm fan; probably would have went with that high-flow Evercool for the front, but Thermaltake does a pretty good job too, more power to ya

; I know I plan on using the 120mm Tt fans that come with the Tsunami for a nice little case mod, heheheh; let's just say the stock side panel fan will no longer exist, and a funnel may go in its place, and maybe those 2 120mm fans will have something to do with it (oh no I went and said too much, lol); anyways, nice work, can't wait to see everything in its glory (as if the case isn't enough, lol).

I'll be picking up my 2 side panels on Monday when I head back into St Louis..............

I'm having my Bio-Hazard Logo cut into them, they're going to be 14" x 13.25, it's going to pretty much fill up the side panel...............

That looks VERY nice...
You remebered the golden rule aswell, know when to stop... A case like yours opens lots of possabilities... yet you somehow managed to keep a clean, proffessional look - mucho props on a good job!

Are you going to leave the gaps open or add some kind of grill?

If you are going to add some mesh and such... give it a small bit of yellow color (the mesh/grill that is)-- would go with the Bio-Hazrd theme?

I wish I had the patience to do some REAL modding... but alas.. I'M TOO LAZY (my moto is -> "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" -> or "why sit down when you can lie down"

)

Right now the plan is for some mesh, but I'm still trying to find some that I like that is large enough to cover in one peice............................ :shock:
