Accelero S1 Rev2 is installed on my 8800GT!

Postby KnightRid » Wed Mar 18, 2009 3:07 pm

WOOHOO - got it today, just got done installing it about 10 minutes ago or so. Started at 41C and is now at 52C with NO fan and f@h running! I also have it overclocked to...

Core - 650mhz
Shader - 1625mhz
Memory - 971mhz

Does anyone have any guide numbers for oc'ing this 8800GT? I want to try and see if I can push it. I might zip tie a 80 or 120mm fan to it if needed to try and get it clocked higher :)

Is there any way to see the temp of the memory chips? I stuck the heatsinks on them after cleaning them REAL good and using an eraser on them to get the thermal pads to stick, but I was just curious how hot they were running.

Mike

You guys are awesome for suggesting this cooler!!! This thing was worth every penny! I believe the contact plate came through with MX-2 paste on it also since it recommends using that if you ever need to replace the thermal paste!

I can actually here my other fans in the computer now rather than just the high pitched whiney gpu fan =D>
