OnLive- interesting

I saw that artical on yahoo today.

looks like a new service/system that might interest people who want to eliminate the cost of buying a ps3 or xbox360 and games..

This won't work until upload speeds increase. Can you imagine trying to tell the game where to go and have to wait for your input to be picked up by the server and returned?

yeah i suppose.. the artical said the games played fine for them though. I dont recall if they said what type of connection they had.

The video game publishers really, really want it to work, because it'd mostly eliminate piracy. The only problem is that they're ignoring a lot of practical problems and already claim that have a product that far exceeds current technology on so many levels.

Yeah, but on top of the connection sending the video of the game also is going to cause a delay.

I think it won't be as laggy as people expect..most people are on broadband connections and they are only getting faster. If you are on a 56k then that's a diff story :)
