Silent fan for Zontac Nvidia 9600GT AMP Edition

Hi

The stock fan is quiet enough but want to buy a quieter one. A Zalman VF1000 was recommended but it doesn't fit the screw holes and the compatible list doesn't mention the 9600. I was also looking at the Coolink GFXChilla, this does mention the 9600GT, GS & GSO and also the 9800 series.

The 4 screw holes are about 41mm center to center and about 60mm diagonal

Just wondering if anyone has one of these cards or can someone recommend a more silent cooler

An Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev 2 with the turbo module (or a larger fan ghettomodded to be blowing over it) will give you great performance while being very quiet.

Get EVGA Precision and play with the fan settings. Don't lower the RPM too low as you may get artifacts.

If that doesn't solve your silence quest then you may want to look into aftermarket coolers.

Thanks for the replies. The software works great.

Also, it was me that couldn't fit the Zalman fan properly. I tried all combinations excpet the right one. The Zalman is now fitted and working
