Canceled The Server

Another $40 bill was due and no one has played on the server in the past 30 days, so I canceled our account and shut down the server.

It was worth a shot, but it doesn't seem like the L4D game server worked out.

I would've liked to survive with ya'll..but even in that idea, this game got old quick for me..

The matchmaking system is partially to blame. Even if you gave out the IP to people, it is still too damn hard to connect to it.

thanks for trying. it was fun but i do think it had to do with the whole getting on to the server thing. it was such a pain and frankly, i never really knew if i was doing it correctly or not.

I can't get enough of TF2. I know Skier and Martin play all the time (they have their own servers clan servers though)

yeah... Seems most the people that play games around here already have a clan/server... If a group of our own forum members ever wants to get a little gaming group together I'd be more than happy to provide a server for it.

I play TF2 a couple of times a week. My favorite quote so far is as a Heavy if you take the enemy intel and bring it all the way back to your team's intel room he says, "I killed many cowards for this!"

I don't have TF2 but it should cost to much to buy it. Let me know if you'll start a server for it, I know my son would want to play too.

I think the problem with that here is that there is such a diverse group of people such a wide range of games (if at all).

Yeah that game looks sick... It's high on the list if some of us pick up the game.

ill be grabbing it on the day it comes out. I went onto their site yesterday... there is a special pack that you get real night vision goggles with. that's funny!

Modern Warfare 2 look sick, I'm in if you,ll get the server. Of cores I'm getting the game any way.
