I'm pretty sure the answer is obvious, but would you recommend this card over 2 HD 4870 cards in Crossfire?

I ask because I'm looking to build my first gaming PC at the end of the month, and I'm constantly changing my setup...

I'd wait for the HD 5xxx launch and see how that affects prices. Cheapest 1GB HD 4870 is around $150 while the cheapest HD 4890 is around $200. Two HD 4870s will run you $300 now, which means in theory you have a $300 budget. This might be enough to purchase an HD 5850 when it launches towards the end of this month. Depending on how powerful this card is, it may be as strong as two HD 4870s all the while potentially being more efficient. Lots of questions and no answers, your best bet is to wait and see where the chips fall after the launch.

Thx for the response...I figured that waiting for the HD 5xxx around the corner would be best, and now the i5's just came out...that just shaved some money off my bottom line which may be beneficial when the new cards come out, assuming I go with that CPU.
