I read a disappointing rumor that its a gt200 rehash with ddr5...I hope that isn't true..if it is, I'll stick with my 285's til the next actual update...DAMN THESE RUMORSS!!!!!!!!!!

Well ATI has thrown down the gauntlet with the HD5000 series. What does Nvidia have in the books?

I upgraded to a GTX 275 a few months ago. The GTX 275 was quite a bit better in performance, than the 8800 GTX. But now seeing that ATi has the 5850, that costs darn near the same as the 275, at a huge increase in performance. If you're loyal, stick it out and see what they have to offer... otherwise switch up to the new king of video processing, ATi.

I've actually thought about getting a 5850 since they are priced really nicely. But sofar everything that i'm playing seems to run pretty well on what i've got atm. Think i'll wait until we get more info on the new nvidia stuff.
