Raid 0 question

Raid 0 question

Would there be any performance difference in a 2 drive set-up with smaller drives vs larger drives. I am looking at the western digital black series(not set in stone on these), and I am not sure what would perform better or if there is any difference.

As opposed to what other drives? 2 WD Black series drives in raid 0 should afford you ~200MB/s on hdtach

I mean would there be a performance difference between 2x500gb in raid 0 or 2x1tb in raid 0.

all depends on the individual drives speeds. faster drives equal better performance in both non raid and raided setups.

as for capacity, i really dont think the size matters as much as speed
