Postby miltonhork » Tue Oct 27, 2009 5:06 am

Hi to all,

I have replaced my old PC with the new one. Now, my old PC had DDR-RAM of Dynate. Now, my new PC has DDR2 Slot. I have to buy a new DDR2 RAM. Which one is good to buy? my some friends told me to buy a Kingston. Is this a good one? Should I buy this or another else ? Which one have you ?

could you tell us some other specs? how many Ram slots is a big one, i assume you have 2+ slots, and what board do you have and what processor, RAM is dependent on the motherboard, as is the chip, if you have say, a Pentium4 the fastest memory you can use i believe is 533MHz(though you can still buy the standard 800MHz, it will just be throttled down to the supported speed)

but if you want to get 800MHz kit, here is pretty much the best, G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

i say its the best because it has a huge amount of 5 star consumer reviews

Good choice Skier! Another good Memory is OCZ SLI-Ready DDR2-800Mhz Memory. This is good if you plan to get SLI Graphics Cards but works fine without SLI!
