Xfire Wine Ubuntu

After finally deciding that windows is evil for not allowing my wireless cards i went to ubuntu for the simple fact my wireless works flawlessly, (no more tripping over cables for me!) now in trying to get xfire toi work in Wine thats another story, it installed all right but every time the program opens in freezes after a few seconds then tries to send an error report, any idea on if or how i can get it to work??
