PSU help

My PSU makes a whistling kind of noise, since I added the GPU folding to the SMP folding. I checked - it's not the fan (I have stopped it with my finger and the noise is the same). There was no noise until there was SMP folding only. It kind of sounds like a high pitched continuous whistle. Not very loud but clearly there and annoying. Any ideas? :-k

Its a capacitor getting ready to fail. You are putting the PSU under high load, and thus its stressing components.

Get a new PSU, or RMA if under warranty
