The Delphi cold-block from the HyrdoCool is compared in size to the Nautilus one. The size reflects the micro-channel technology of cooling 200W from the Hydrocool to now 500W with the Nautilus. Delphi just engineered the cooling capacity with the new block without sacrificing the size too much.

The good folks at Viperlair put the Nautilus 500 through the wringer.

Corsair's Nautlius 500 is a sleeper like those muscle cars of the 60's are.

I'm not too sure about his 6 minute install time.... You have to power the system down, cut tubes, drive to the store and buy distilled water, fill the system up, wire it, clean the old thermal grease off and install new compound, figure out the mounting clip, and then plumb it all through the PCI slots... not to mention topping the system off with water after it starts. Still a good read.

i agree with nate. for me add 30 more mins to install anything. im prone to mess up the easiest instructions. oh who needs instructions.

The INQ didn't specify what chipset block was used. I can only guess the chipset block was that of the HydroCool/COOL series since Corsair has no other at this time.

As for the GPU blocks, old or new style, they were not in the review.

I've seen a couple reviews that used them and from the photos they look like the same prototypes that they developed for the HydroCool back in 2003.

he-he, you should have said the chipset cold-blocks that I did back in 2003. They are still available today. The GPU fittings have a 15 degree tilt to allow the tubing and clamp to fit onto the block and not hit the video card.

At least the Nautilus uses the newer block I had done recently. It's a little beefer than the HydroCool series.
