Ok, my boy's birthday party was over the weekend. He told me he wanted a Portal them cake. Here is what I came up with

Made the logo and portal images up in Photoshop. A guy on Deviant Art vectored all the symbols. Got them all arranged the way I wanted. Took a print out to the bakery and they then scanned and printed it on rice paper with edible ink. Then slapped it on the cake like a sticker.

Awesome. That's the coolest birthday cake idea ever. Who needs Disney when you could have an Aperture Science Enrichment Center. I wish I had a childhood filled with perilous, mind bending gauntlets, and sadistic programs with false promises of cake. But no, I had to make do with Alice In Wonderland.
