Postby Apoptosis » Mon Jul 30, 2012 7:32 am

When it comes to high performance computer power supply units, Seasonic is one of the most reputable manufacturers. The company serves as the OEM of many other well-known brands, such as Corsair and NZXT, but they also have their own retail branch. Today we will be performing our very first review of a retail Seasonic product and we are starting with the very best their engineering department has ever designed to this date; the Platinum 1000W unit.

Seasonic is a company held in high regard by enthusiasts and today we can see why. The Platinum 1000W unit, which unit is most likely to serve as the base design for many other Platinum units where Seasonic will be the OEM behind, is unquestionably a remarkable platform capable of delivering outstanding overall performance to enthusiasts, professionals and overclockers alike.

Good review. That's a killer setup you have to test power supplies too! And finally, thanks for the efficiency graph with 240V and 120V compared. I knew that 240V was more efficient but I thought it was more than what it was. Thanks again, learn something new everyday.
