I just got my ram, but it doesnt have a heatspreader :( oh well. Just in time for Oblivion :finga:

Those modules should have heat spreaders installed on them. Please check and make sure that Muskin sent you part number 991461

EDIT: Mushkin sent you 991373 modules and not the 991461 modules that were listed in the contest. Mushkin said they are sorry and would be more than happy to swap them out for you with the correct ones if you like. I just got off the phone with one of the main guys at Mushkin and he said you can blame him ;)

If they are physicallly the same sticks then I don't mind, too much of a bother, they have been more than generous enough already.

I think i read somewhere that heatspreaders aren't even that useful.

Also its nice to have someone like you to deal with them :)
