February Forum Contest: 2GB Mushkin DDR PC-3200 Memory

Postby Apoptosis » Thu Feb 09, 2006 11:39 am

This month Mushkin is sponsoring a contest that is giving away a 2GB kit of DDR1 memory for one of our lucky AMD users. The past few months we have been giving away Intel related items, so I thought this would be a good change and requested DDR1.

The Mushkin Enhanced Memory Series (EM)- This line of modules is the perfect solution for the standard, multi-use PC. The Mushkin EM Series is high quality, spec’d to JEDEC standards for maximum compatibilty, maintains exceptional performance, and is an overall great value! All Mushkin EM Series memory comes with an installed heat spreader to eliminate localized hotspots, further enhancing product lifetime and overclockability. Mushkin modules are tested and carry a limited lifetime warranty upon product registration.

The kit we are giving away has the part number of 991461 and is part of Mushkin's Enhanced Memory line.

This 128Mx64 PC3200 module is an unbuffered 184-Pin Double Data Rate (DDR) Synchronous DRAM Dual In-Line Memory Module (DIMM), organized as a dual-bank high-speed memory array with 64Mx8 chip density. The DIMM achieves high-speed data transfer rates of up to 400MHz. Rated latencies are 3-3-3-8 at 400MHz.

Retail Cost: $180 +shipping

The contest ends Feb 28th, 2006 and the winner will be drawn on March 1st, 2006. Right now the contest is open to all, but I am waiting to hear back from Mushkin on what countries they will allow for this contest. For now I am saying North America.

To enter the contest please post an "entry" on this thread and make AT LEAST 5 posts this months on the forums. If you don't have active posts you're name will be removed from the hat.

Like the ECS, OCZ, Corsair, and now Mushkin contests Legit Reviews does not have the product in our hands. These companies don't have to be giving away products, so we usually don't complain how they give away their products. Know what I mean?

Not everyone can be included, but that is true on any site.
