AsusA8V deluxe heatsink slk-948u

Does anyone know if the thermalright slk-948u heatsink will fit in this mobo?

I have the mobo, but I don't have that Heatsink. The SP-94, SLK-800, and SLK-900 all seem to clear... not 100% sure on that one.

Thermalright has listing on its website of what mobos there heat sinks will fit.

It is not on their motherboard compatability list,
but the Asus A8V is brand new, maybe they
have not updated it yet??

I'm not sure that it's pertinent at this point but yeas the SLK 948 fits on the socket 939. According to all the HSF companies I have talked to, every HSF that fits on a socket 940 will fit on the socket 939. I know for a fact that both the SLK 948 and XP-120 fit on he ASUS a8V because i have tested both and am using the XP-120....review will be posted this week
