Intel T7600 Merom 2.33GHz Processor: Benchmarks and Pictures

The T7600 is the latest dual-core mobile processor from Intel and it is clocked at 2.33GHz and is based on the same Core 2 Duo desktop architecture that we all know and love. This processor comes loaded with 4MB of L2 cache.

Here is the T7600 sitting next to some of my older engineering sample mobile processors.



I didn't do any BIOS updates on the Clevo M570U notebook that I tried it on and it posted and runs like a champ.

I did some benchmarking using 3DMark2006 on the Clevo M570U notebook and came up with this:



A score of 4696 on the 2.16GHz T2600 processor...



A score of 4768 on the 2.33GHz T7600 processor... I believe that 3DMark2006 is GPU limited even with the GeForce 7900GTX Go installed because overclocking the video card really wakes up performance.



after a little overclocking the performance goes up from 4768 to 5349 3dmarks!

my eyes are catching more and more on notebook gaming. Being at quakecon, there were some notebooks that were faster than my own computer.
