While surfing the web this morning I rounded up as many GeForce GT 240 pictures that I could to post up in one place for you guys. It appears the NVIDIA reference card is a single slot card, but most the Add-In-Board (AIB) partners went dual-slot with upgraded coolers.

hmm same arctic cooling hs/f on two of 'em, one being transparent and same on the Sapphire 4670, must be a pretty good unit

The best part of a new graphics card is choosing which aftermarket cooler would be best for your particular build!

The obvious answer is because they generate too much heat. Anyone know for sure?

it has 96 stream processors so it is like a new core for the original 9600 GSO's

correct, it would not be an upgrade for you. i'd get another 9800GT since they're actually the exact same price!

though as a generalization, newer tech always has its own benefits.
