If you are waiting to hear, how does the winner get extra entries if the drawing has been held? :?

Come on guys! The piictures just got you extra entries in the contest, they don't mean you are going to win. Congratulations to the winner, and stay tuned for more contests.
As to the "Pimp your pet" entries, I think Nate was trying to see if OCZ would splurge on something for those people.
You all have to understand that these companies provide this stuff for free, but they do it in hopes that several people will enter and it will be feasdible for them to give things away. If we have 20-25 people entering these contests, then companies are going to be reluctant to give things away or sponsor contests.....so start spreading the word and get your friends involved.

BTW, I gave my nod to Bio's gaming dog over GVBlake's dog..... mostly because GVBlake's dog had those "Satan Eyes". Bio, did you have to rub bacon fat all over your desk to get your dog to sit there, or did you glue him?

I know, I am gracious for you guys providing us with these opportunities to win stuff. I was honestly just curious as to how the "pimped pet" pics affected the entries/outcome :)

The pictures just got you extra entries, Nate and I spent yesterday going over everything. I think he was trying to get OCZ to kick out some stuff to you guys who sent in the pics, which were very good by the way.
We really need to get more people involved in these contests, 20-25 people is not worth it for these companies to sponsor us and give away $400-500 worth of stuff. In my heart I think now that our three month deal with OCZ is up, they won't sponsor us again due to the lack of interest. Unless we get a lot more people involved, we are going to have a hard time getting help from these companies. Out of 665 members, we had less than 40 entries..... and its not like we were asking people to spill blood or commit crimes.

Yeah, that really is suprising actually! :oops:

A big props to you guys though for working so hard to keep sponsorships and give stuff away!

For the record, I wasn't complaining...it just wasn't clear what was done. No worries. I agree, we need more folks although I'm happy with the lower odds :snakeman:

I got my ram!!! It's pc3200 gold(bh5)... should be VX!!!(ch5) :?

Thank you LR and OCZ!!!

I haven't got a digital camera... but i am trying to source a loan of one in work.. so expect pics soon...

I had only a few mins to play with it so far (I'll post a separate thread as and when i get a chance)

2.75v --> ddr400 @ 2,2,2,5 no probs
2.85v --> ddr418 @ 2,2,2,5 no probs
got greedy here

ddr booster
3.2v --> ddr420 @ 2,2,2,5 - not tested for stability (passed 3 loops of test 5 and 8 )
3.4v --> ddr426 @ 2,2,2,5 - not tested for stability (passed 3 loops of test 5 and 8 )
3.5v --> ddr430 @ 2,2,2,5 - not tested for stability (passed 3 loops of test 5 and 8 )

This ram LOVES vdim!!! -> BUT not very good returns :(

I'm not sure if it's my p4c800 (875 chipset) or the ram, but i was hoping for ddr480 which gives me 3.6Ghz (yes i keep them cool - 80mm fan 2" away @ ~2000rpm)

Anyway.. It was free! Also i only burned them in so far @ 2.85v running @ ddr418 for 9hrs.... Now onto ~3v for another ~8hrs

What to do... what to do? ( i'll pm you soon if I decide on going that route)
