8Bit Redux - What games would you like to see remade

With the release of Bionic Commando Rearmed and 1942 on the XBLA it looks like retro-gaming is getting a face lift by smaller developers.

What classic games would you like to see remade with better graphics and sound but their core game mechanics left intact?

My short list:
Blaster Master!
Kid Icarus
Castlevania 1-3

Some classic games just need a graphics update, not to be "reimagined".

so many games I used to play hours on end.... what would I want to see remade?

Maybe Tecmo bowl.. awsome game play- really simple.
So many others... Maybe if some studio just did a graphic update for 50 some 8bit games and released them in packs of 10.. I am sure Nintendo would have something to say about that..

The OG Zelda, Contra, Donkey Kong.

everything the same, just freshen up the graphics.

Dude, you are a genius. I'd forgotten all bout Shadow Gate and Deja Vu! I head they were re-released for the iPhone not long ago but the company that did the release folded.

I played them religiously. Thank god for emulators ;) Too bad they didn't make a mouse for the NES back then..those two games could really use one lol . I remember playing Shadowgate 64. Which was pretty good too. Wish I never got rid of it. Hard to find now. I never did play the sequel to Deja Vu.
