I thought I may have had a chance and then you boosted your output :p

LOL - I am still trying to get another core i7 to use for folding but with Christmas right around the corner, I doubt it will be any time soon.

no doubt! I wish the PS3 would still give decent points. Hell my quad core Q6700 and 8800gt are not even doing squat compared to the i7! I should have bought that other i7 before Christmas *kicks self in ass for not having money* lol

I have been thinking of buying a 570 GC. Just to see if it will fit in my case. If it does, I might buy 2 more. My case is in my sig. I have two of the same case. My other case is a Silverstone tj09. This is the GC I had in mind. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814125365

Darkstar do you have any intel core I7 cpus in your folding farm? If you do, I would like to help you with the big-adv points. Just let me know so Natasha and I can really bump up your ppd.

Core I7 860 and above. I have a 860@3.77 and it does just fine. I only use one GC per rig when using big-adv points.

Edit: Darkstar, We can help if you want. We could do Skype or we could come down this weekend to get you into some big-adv points. We live in Valencia, CA. Anyway we can help just ask.

You have a I7 860 in your sig.. :) As far as driving down, no problem. Anyway you want to do it. Going with big-adv points is the way to go. We could set up a time for skype to see if Natasha can help you set it up. Would be easier for her to do it in person. Should only take about 10 min.

bigadv will boost your score a ton! I have a i7-920 running around 4ghz. hfm.net program tells me i am getting around 32,000 ppd from it alone. Compare that to my Q6700 that is only getting around 4200 ppd and you can see how it helps ;)

I may have to run my laptop core i7 - just hate to do it cause of the heat.
