Sorry I don't have any of these accounts. Why can't they co-exist? Why is it one or the other? Does Facebook make more money if you're on their site 15 minutes a day versus 5?

oh yes.....

now i understand what the picture says..... really amazing.....because people will discuss it on facebook that a new social network has been launched see you there..... two days before my friends asked me you got invitation about google plus.....

I know that Google and Facebook all have those little ads on the side of their website.

Plus when you search something on Google, sometimes websites pay Google to be at the top of your search list. And since Google is the top search engine in the world, it obvious gets paid a LOT for that.
