Boot Issues with Intel DP67BG Mobo

Postby MMX_2011 » Thu Nov 17, 2011 6:18 am

Hello,
I have a relatively new intel mobo DP67BG with a i5 2500K processor and 8GB ram. This syetem will not boot up with any tye of pci express card that requires an external power source. Have swapped out known good power suplies ANTEC 7XX and Corsair 7XX. It does boot with a lower pci express card that does not require addtional power connector. Drivers seem to be up to date. Ideas ?

You didn't mention the brand and wattage of your power supply. Also what video card are you using?

According to Intel's website, BIOS revision 2076 for this board fixes an issue where some video cards with a high amount of memory will not work (kinda of vague). I would update to the latest BIOS version and start from there.
