Doom 3 BFG

Anyone else excited to get this? My PC couldn't handle it back in 2004 so it's a brand new game for me.

Did anyone play the original release and did you like it?

Yesterday they announced pricing at $29.99 for PC and $39.99 for consoles. It's definitely a PC release too.

Thinking about demon killing FPS has forced me to dust off Hellgate: London-- I wish this game had continued to get new content ;/

The 1st time I saw a demon ash away (like the Blade movies) I thought it was badass. Then as I played I cared less and less. ID has never really been good at storytellinf though. As I recall it did run ok for me at 1280x1024 on an Athlon 64 3000+ and a 9800 Pro.

doom 3 is still a good game. i was playing it last month and i have the extra textures mod. but the bfg edition is the same as the original but with hd graphics like they did with the serious sam games. Also you get the original games from the 90's :)
