My FX-62 processor has taken a crap

Postby Apoptosis » Thu Sep 07, 2006 7:18 am

My FX-62 processor has taken a crap... anything over 250MHz HTT it can't run any gaming benchmarks and crashes in Super Pi and Prime 95...

I'm running 250MHz HTT x 10 multi = 2.5GHz... LOL

Sad... I believe the memory controller is gone on this one.

What are you going to replace it with? Are you going Core Duo 2 or will you stick with AMD?

The room gets very quiet as Apop is about to speak.....

What VDIMM did you run? The mem controller might have been blown from using a low vcore/high vdimm combo at some stage?

Eitherway, that sucks! I lost 2 chips this year........I feel your pain!
