Using Non-Dell Display Drivers

Postby l4nc3r » Tue Jan 02, 2007 4:11 am

I have a Dell XPS M1710 with a 7900GS. I cant seem to find a way to run any other drivers then the Dell Drivers they have on their site. I want to run the actual NVidia Drivers due to Dell being slow on updating theirs. Anyone have any solutions for my problem?

I have a M1710 with the 7900GTX and can use the Go Drivers off the NVIDIA site... have you tried installing those? They also support the M1710 and the 7900GS according to their page... here is a link: http://www.nvidia.com/content/license/l ... l_whql.exe

They said to support the 7900GTX and 7900GS on the M1710!

Welcome to the forums and hope that works out for you - I'm running 84.63 drivers and they are doing great for me.

OMG....I totally passed over the Go Drivers. Thank you very much. Hmm... and sadly, the NVidia drivers are just as old as the Dell Drivers. BUt oh well, thanks for showing me the link.
