Hi There (PDude Style)

Hi there...

I've found another Extreme PC Enthusiast Website! Which is nice because I got banned from the [H]ard Forums for a month because someone invaded my thread about how to create a lagless gaming machine, and I GOT BANNED for defending myself. Once you ban me, even if it's just for one hour, I'll never come back.

I just want to feel comfortable when it comes to reading or asking stuff about what things I should get for my next PC and determine when to get it. I've asked a lot of good questions on the other forums but I won't even think about typing in that website URL any longer. Not even to go back and reference my old posts.

The name itself, Legit Reviews, sounds really convincing for me to be a part of the community. Next time if you make a rude comment about my thread and you have over 1000 posts, I won't say nothing to you. Because you'll cry to your significant other, who is the admin of the forums, about the nasty thing I said back at you just to get me banned. But I'll just think about what you said and make myself really hate you!

I've been into computers and its technology for about 11 years now. I'm a Vicious, Hardcore First Person Gamer who loves competition. I'm still new to getting the best hardware and keeping my system ice cold, but it's probably because I'm used to buying the cheap hardware instead of getting the best stuff.

Right now I'm doing okay with an FX-55, 7900GTX with 2GB 400Mhz ram and a 74GB WD Raptor HD... Pretty fast but not fast enough. And I'm doing my primary hard drive without RAID, so I'll need to change that here in a bit.

I'm gonna wait til Summer of 2007 to get the new gear because why buy the new FX processor when there's no new games out? Beats the hell out of me. There's at least 3 titles expecting to be out this summer anyway, and by then they should have like a Nvidia 8900GTX.

Anyway, thanks for not knowing me yet, Legit Reviews Community.

welcome to the forums and sorry to hear you got banned over at [H]. I've only banned a few people here, so as long as you don't call me a douche bag, threaten to kill me or tell me you're going to sue me you're all good!

Welcome to the community and with your expierence I'm sure you'll be able to add a ton to the community here.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yeah... I'm the same way. I won't have a problem with you if you don't have a problem with me sort of deal. An argument is one thing, but just being rude about something sort of presses my buttons a bit.

And if I created a really short thread, there wouldn't be much of an introduction. I thought I would spice it up a little bit. This is the 3rd tech forum I've been on. Hopefully my time here won't end so soon like the other 2 did.

I've seen it happen on other forums. If you can cut down someone so hard to where they change the way they feel about themselves, it could lead to that. But then you think, "Hey, it's just a bunch of weird characters on the net", but sometimes the right words can get that crazy lunatic going...

I do a lot of lurking here, but would love to pick your brain on your experience with laggless gaming. Cool to know there is yet another FPS player in our midsts. What is your game of choice? Mine is BF2 and Q4 - even though I used to mop up Apop in Aliens versus Predator!

Really the only thing we expect from our members is that they treat other members and the site with respect! Apoptosis (the site owner btw) has worked hard to make this forum flame free.....and we ALL endevour to keep it that way. (We look out for our own here!)

well to make it complete, welcome. And trust me on this, you won't have to defend yourself unless its on academic grounds, because flames no matter what will not be tolerated by the admins or the mods

LOL, I guess my domain is banned over at [H] because when I tried to log in it said I wasn't allowed because my domain is not on the "white list". I guess they have been getting hacked. I haven't been over there in a while...no big loss.

Thanks! I haven't necessarily experience the lagless machine, yet. But if you still play older games it's almost like the lagless machine in that game. My goal is to try to play a game with a super hi res (at least 1920 X 1200) with 8x anisotropy and 16x AA free of lag (Even when there is 16 players in a server). Even though TRON 2.0 doesn't offer antialiasing, I can still run it very nice and lag free at 1920 X 1440.

I play a lot of FPS, but right now I'm playing Postal 2, TRON 2.0, a little Q4 and even the Classic Doom Series online. I got Painkiller for xmas but I'm still going through the sp campaign. The game I'm waiting for now is BioShock.

That's strange. I can still access their pages but I'm not sure if my login works, but I don't care to find out either. The one thing I really liked about Hard forums was their suggestion lists of stuff to get for your PC. That was the website that helped me get the stuff I wanted for my current PC, and I learned a few things there as well. But man, getting banned just sucks...

Were you posting from work? That sounds like your work proxy has banned the [H] domain.......not the otherway 'round!

Anyone remember Stripes and the scene where they are all introducing themselves to the Platoon and Sgt Hulka? No offense Top, but your post reminded me of that scene.

You'll find that the guys here are really knowledgeable and people tend to jump when you ask for help. Enjoy your stay.
