DDR1 prices will continue to rise or stay where they are because of supply and demand, but DDR2 will be more competitive because the pending release of DDR3. IC Memory makes don’t want to get stuck with inventory of DDR2. The price will be very volatile over the next few months depending on supply and demand. And depending on how well new chipsets perform. It's still too early but it looks like the penitential of DDR3 will have more of a performance impact than DDR2 had over DDR1 when it was released. It’s my opinion any way, and opinions are like ass holes we all have one but some are bigger then others and may smell bad. LOL
This is just a guess so lets see what happens in 6 months.
A betting man just not on memory! LOL
