- the question I have is would I be better off adding 1gb as additional ram onto the default 2gb Ram?
Also would all of these additional Ram types be compatible with the default 2gb Ram?

If the PC has 2gb of RAM, then don't get more.

Won't make any difference in everyday computing and gaming.
