On 1-29-2005 we attended the
War Factory LAN party in St. Louis. We thought it would be interesting to see what type of memory the gamers were using. We took a poll of 45 of the gamers that could talk to us (The rest were playing for cash prizes) and found the following results:
Looks like Kingston and Corsair are by far the memory brands of choice in St. Louis. I was shocked by how many people also were running Geil and Generic memory! We also didn't include a number of people who were unsure what memory they had! Still interesting results though!
