My memory seems to have settled out at 253 2-2-2-8 at 3.3v which is the max i feel like putting to them, though if my cpu will do 3ghz then i think i could push them more. Next to HTT testing.

Ok so now that i have things about where i wanted them i was going to put my mobo into my skyhawk case today. Well guess what, the audio modual does not fit, it hits the fan in my case preventing me from using this damn case

so now i need to find a new case.

Yves. i had that issue with a Cooler master case and a 120mm fan....I found that the audio module wouldn't actually hit the fan, so I just cut a groove in the fan housing for the audio module.

I thought about trying that but there is so little room even notching the fan would distroy it so for the moment its in my Lian Li PC-52, not the best case for an A64 running at 2.6ghz

The good news is Nate is sending me a case to review so who knows i might just end up keeping that

Well there are probably going to be about 5 systems put together over here with that board within the next couple weeks, as for mine I am o/c'n it and wondered which heatsink/fan to go with, thermalright was fine the last time so Id like to stay with them...

hey man, good to see your still kicken' thermalright is still the way to go, the xp-90 and xp-120 are both very very good coolers.

thx dude, just got done getting my friends new pc together. Need your advice before I do ANYTHING other then setup XP and grfx drivers, chipset etc.. Hes got the same board sli-d but I got him to order the xms 4400 1gb. Along with a 6800gt. Any suggestions? Oh, neopower480 ps.

I like my OCZ PSU Personally.

Infinite I have a DFI LANPARTY nF3 UT 250gb mobo and I had a similar problem with my CD drive. Everytime I put a disk in it would just spike the CPU usage for no reason. Well I e-mailed DFI and got a reply back in an hour(i know, fast right?) and found out that they know that the drivers for CD drives are messed up and he just told me to uninstall it. I did that and it worked just fine.

Travis and the gang over at DFI provide incredible tech support, some of the best people around....which is one reason I rate DFI so highly.
