Re: ASUS Rebates

I hate rebates. They do them hoping most people will forget or not bother and the ones that do have to wait forever to get their money back, which makes them think not to bother for the next time, so why even bother with rebates just put it on sale!

Disable it and set it to the standard IDE/whatever your bios has and try installing again.

Re: Win7 32 to 64?

Thinking about the xp problem on the ssd - could it be the bios setting for the drive being set to the (oh my god brain fart.....ummmmm) AHCI rather than the regular IDE? Did XP work with AHCI? Trying my friend, I am trying :partyman: With MS telling you to stuff it, yea, they want everyone on 10. 1...

Re: Still Rocking The i7 2600k

My rule was below 60C if possible but not above 70C. I haven't overclocked in a while just because I don't have a reason to. That processor could run a day or 10 years, there is no way to know. I am taking it those temps are at full load. Maybe turn up your cooling solution in the summer a bit if it...

Re: Win7 32 to 64?

No idea why your key did not work when you installed as it should, unless there were major hardware changes. You are going to have to wipe the drive . I do not see a way around this. Unless you stick with 32bit and 4gb. Of course I could always be wrong but everything I have read says you need to do...

Re: Win7 32 to 64?

As far as I remember with Windows 7, all installations could be installed 32 or 64 bit with using the same key but you could not use the same key twice. That may be the biggest thing with what you want to do since the key is already in use.... I still think that backing up and reinstalling will be y...

Re: Win7 32 to 64?

You might not be able to "upgrade" from 32 to 64, you might have to reinstall.

Best way is to put the disc in and go through the menus like you are upgrading and see if it lets you. Windows will tell you if you can or not as Windows is god lol

Re: Corsair Spec-04 Tempered Glass Mid-Tower Case Review

I agree about the bays! It is all because stupid people think streaming has the same quality as buying a physical disc. They are wrong. File sizes for 4k bluray are huge so unless you have a 100mbps connection you would be screwed to even try to watch TRUE 4k without more compression. Might be nice ...

Re: What is the best mobile phone signal booster?

Get one from your cell provider. None of those crap ones that stick to your phone as they don't work. You have to make sure the one you get works with the provider and phone you have so if you want any suggestions on actual products you would have to tell us which carrier and which phone you are goi...

Re: Android App Cost

Read the comment I gave on your ios app post. Android might be a tiny bit cheaper but for a good developer, you will pay.

Now if you go with an independent who is not known you can get it a lot cheaper but then risk the chance they could disappear or just do a crap job.

Re: Need new mouse - suggestions wanted

I have a Panasonic Inverter microwave and it interferes with 2.4ghz signals, that is the problem. It cuts off my wireless interent if I use it and everything. Tried different channels on the router and nothing fixes it. So I don't have a problem with the fob or the wireless, just the signal interfer...
