Re: AMD Radeon RX 590 Roundup – PowerColor, Sapphire and XFX

Also for the 570 and 580 you can pick 2 of the 3 games for free. Seems nice! I actually have a 580 on order from black friday but might cancel it as I hate to keep it on the credit card for a few months. Dunno, might hang on to it since it was $210 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XZQMMHJ/ - w...

Re: How to access my localhost from another PC in LAN?

I do not understand what you want to do. Even without internet, as long as you are connected to your network you will have an IP address. You can set up windows shares for folders/etc using the local ip address. (normally something like 192.168.0.XXX) If you want to remote into the computer you coul...

Re: Wireless outdoor webcam suggestions

I will check that one out! (forgot to mention) It has to be on all the time also as the movement option probably will not work since the deer/foxes/etc are over 50 feet from the house. I so wish the farmland would be sold around us and they would put in some more houses so maybe the cable company wo...

Wireless outdoor webcam suggestions

Hey guys and gals, I am looking for a (here comes the title again) wireless outdoor webcam, preferably with zoom and easy to use software so while my father in law is still with us i can put the live video on the laptop and let him watch for all the deer, turkey, foxes etc that come around here. He ...

Re: New Custom Water Cooled Loop

The problem I see is that if you have 3 hoses all the same size and try to take 2 of those flows into one, you will get a massive bottleneck and reduce flow significantly to everything and will compromise cooling. Might help if you have dual rads to run the flow through separate and then rejoin the ...

Re: Intel Core i9-9980XE Extreme Edition Processor Review

geekgasm 650+ watts - holy crap! RTX2080 uses what, around 250...so 900w right there without anything else. IF you OC the CPU. I would honestly recommend a 1000w+ PSU just because you don't get 100% of the power from the supply, more like 80-90 max on a great PSU. WOW. I figure if you can afford thi...

Re: New system

As for the mobo or power supply (psu most likely by the sound of it) dying on you after all the issues, I would have almost given up by now. I'll give you credit where credit is due for your fighting spirit 8) Tried 2 different PSU's and both do the same thing. Oh I checked and rechecked everything...

Re: APC Back-UPS 550 Finally Giving Scream of Death After 7 Years

Had to get direct injection in my neck yesterday so missed this. Just make sure they have enough battery supplied outlets for the devices you want to put on them. This is the main problem I have found with cell phones, tablets, etc becoming so popular and even though they are low draw on battery bac...

Pure sinewave would be nice and might help out in certain situations but I think I would at least replace the batteries once before chucking it and getting a new one....but thats just my cheap ass self lol

Weird typing on my laptop.

Re: New system

So it died. Kinda lol might be the main power connector as it would not turn on and when I went to remove the power cable the lights flickered. I give up as I dont think I can replace that with my non existant soldering skills :)

Put a piece of electrical tape over each standoff. Then install board. I put the paper/cardboard washers on each of them last time I pulled it apart just to make sure they were not touching :) I am still getting the odd temp readings also From previous post CPUIDHWTemps.JPG Just took this reading n...
