Re: TerraMaster F2-420 2-Bay Quad-Core NAS Review

First thing, most home users will not spend $200, or even near it to protect their $300 laptop ;) Trust me, I keep telling people to get backup as they lose hard drives with their pictures that cant be recovered and they still say no, it's not worth it. I love these little 2 drive setups thou...

Re: Corsair VOID PRO RGB Wireless SE Gaming Headset Review

Just turn off the screen saver, sleep and hibernate and have the monitor turn off after so many minutes. Should solve the problem. I have mine set this way because I leave it on 24/7, never sleep or hibernate.

Re: Corsair VOID PRO RGB Wireless SE Gaming Headset Review

I like my Void PRO RGB USB headset. I wish there was a way to flat out disable the RBG. For now I just set it to black, sadly when the screen saver runs it cycles colors. Will be so happy when the RGB crap goes away. Screen saver? I did not think anyone used them any more. I always set peoples syst...

Re: Corsair VOID PRO RGB Wireless SE Gaming Headset Review

I want it. Pittsburgh Steelers colors, nough said. Wish it worked on the PS3/4 :( I don't game on the computer much any more so all that money for a headset would be a waste for me. Kind of like the cost of driving wheels to play a couple games  Steelers emblem over the Corsair one would make...

Re: AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 versus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

Damn man, sorry the the truly awful day :( It is getting harder and harder for anything online to survive without some sort of big backing dollars. I know how much money it takes just to keep a site operational! I will take one for the team and take a paycut. It will bite into my Bugatti budget but ...

Re: AMD Radeon RX Vega Benchmark Review: Vega 64 and Vega 56 Tested

I would stay with Pascal too if I were Nvidia as it is a beast and nothing touches it, plus it is probably getting cheaper to produce as they can pump them out at a greater quantity. Maybe by next year prices will get better and they can release them at a decent price point. Although I don't buy hig...

Ouch number 2 - ](*,) Although as one of the commenters said, there will likely be a ton of them on ebay as soon as people find out the power required for being WAY short of 100 MH/s and they will not get the full price (unless morons are involved in buying, then they will pay more than the msrp bec...

Ouch. So drop the cards to a lower price point and sell a ton more to the budget gamers (me lol - well wait, I am cheap, not budget) because they do not command the price they are listed at, in my opinion. Remember, I am opinionated and nothing I say or do reflects on anyone else :finga:

DEAD - AMD Ryzen 7 1700X - $299.99 today only

One of Amazon's deals of the day is the AMD Ryzen 7 1700x cpu for $299.99! https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-1700X-Processor-YD170XBCAEWOF/dp/B06X3W9NGG/ It will expire at the end of the day or when they sell out I think, so act fast if you want one. Re: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X and Threadripper 1920X Processor Review

Wow, for video editing it looks to me that AMD is the winner. Will have to wait to see if Intel does anything with pricing (LOL I know, I know, like that will happen) to try and stay competitive in the higher end or if they will just let the dice roll and wait for the next iteration of the core i pr...

Re: Is it good to buy social media accounts ?

I am guessing this is spam but to be nice I will answer it. You don't buy social media accounts as everyone finds out you bought them and then has a lower opinion of you than they would have with a crappy social media account. You made an account on here so you can make a social media account for yo...

Ok, I am drooling. Not $999 drooling nor the $400 MB drooling (ok I am drooling for both but after upgrading my NAS to 5-8TB drives to try and finish ripping my dvd/blu-ray collection there aint no daggone moneys left) but I am drooling at the possibility AMD may beat Intel benchmarks....we shall se...

You mean between AM4 boards or between AMD and Intel? AM4. Just seems you can get a whole lot of MB for a lower price compared to the releases for Intel chips. Maybe I am looking wrong but that is what I have noticed. More features or more advanced of the same features for the same or lower pricing...

Re: Is overclocking risky

Yes, it is risky...for the most part. If you use a windows based overclocking utility it is a lot safer than going in to your BIOS. You should avoid changing any voltage settings unless you have water cooling and you should keep an eye on your temps after overclocking to make sure they are safe. If ...
