Re: 2012 Budget Mini-ITX Desktop PC System Build Guide

Nice build! Very clean and the case is quite something too! I liked how you did that last shot with a bottle of "Arrogant Bastard Ale" for size comparison, as it did indeed help me to get a better grasp on the actual size of this build. I personally wouldn't build a HTPC without a quad-cor...

Re: Biostar TZ77XE3 Motherboard Giveaway

Would like to enter please! I look for good voltage regulation first and foremost in new mobos because of all the fancy stuff being added to these boards that can automatically set these things in the background and really mess stuff up. I like clean, regulated power that does not have a mind of it'...

Question about overclocking an AMD 6000+ windsor & DDR speed

Hello, I recently upgraded my computer to an AMD 6000+ , which runs @ 3.0 ghz and am using ddr2-800 ram. I heard somewhere I may need to overclock my chip to take full advantage of the speed of my ram and ensure it is running @ full ddr2-800 speeds. I dont know how to either find out what speed my r...

Re: Need some opinions!

Not much of an AMD type but it does look like a pretty good deal. The mobo seems to have some good upgradeability and, while the RAM is a bit of overkill, you wouldn't save a lot and he will be ready when he can get a 64-bit OS. That was a big part of deciding to go with this combo was the upgradea...

Re: Lucid -Ati and Nvidia together

while it would be decent to be able to mix n' match your gpus it is no doubt going to be hell for compatibility.. even mixing two video cards, say for example, by nvidia from 2 generations apart (8800 & 6800) seems like it would be a glitchy nightmare just because of the different capabilities o...
