PUBG uses Unreal Engine 4, which is capable of producing solid image quality, but can be rather taxing on your PC h...

Two PCIe NVMe SSDs Tested On Six Motherboards By Intel and AMD @ Legit Reviews

When Corsair sent us their new Neutron NX500 400GB NVMe PCIe AIC SSD to review we weren’t impressed by what we were seeing from Corsair’s new flagship storage drive. We tried the AIC in all available PCIe slots and saw no change. We 1024K aligned the drive per instructions from Corsair and saw no ch...

ASUS Video Card RMA Experience and Turnaround Time in 2017

Most review sites don't cover the RMA process, but trying to get a motherboard or video card repaired can be a truly painful experience. We recently had an ASUS ROG STRIX-RX480-8G-GAMING video card fail on us. It didn't blow up in a ball of fire and smoke, but while gaming something would go terribl...

Re: AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 versus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

I usually don't let them get to me, but yesterday was the 2-year anniversary of my moms death. Her ex-boyfriend came into town and collected on a personal loan he gave her that I needed to re-pay him for (large amount that I didn't know about) and then was telling me all about his new girlfriend. He...

The Radeon RX Vega 56 came a little sooner than we expected and we frankly weren’t prepared for it when ...

Re: AMD Radeon RX Vega Benchmark Review: Vega 64 and Vega 56 Tested

Ouch. So drop the cards to a lower price point and sell a ton more to the budget gamers (me lol - well wait, I am cheap, not budget) because they do not command the price they are listed at, in my opinion. Remember, I am opinionated and nothing I say or do reflects on anyone else :finga: They can't...

Re: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X and Threadripper 1920X Processor Review

It seems now you could just sell your mining rigs, get one Threadripper unit, swap in 4 VEGA's and have about the same amount of mining units done. I read VEGA can do 100MH/s+/card. You could save a lot of power and heat this way. You want the lowest TDP processor available, so no TR for...

Although as one of the commenters said, there will likely be a ton of them on ebay as soon as people find out the power required for being WAY short of 100 MH/s and they will not get the full price (unless morons are involved in buying, then they will pay more than the msrp because, well, they are ...

I think it really depends on features... I know when you get to the high-end boards like AMD X399 the big cost difference is 802.11ad versus 802.11ac and the wired NIC on many of the boards.

hum, I think it's pretty fair. I know Intel B250 motherboards are around $65-$70. Take the Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H for example at $70 . The lowest priced AMD AM4 board from Gigabyte is the GA-AB350M-HD3 at $80 . Both use the same Realtek ALC887 audio codec, Realtek GbE LAN chip, have six SATA III por...
