Re: AMD Ryzen Pre-Orders Start Today – 8-Cores For $329

Ok, I am impressed with the pricing so far. Top CPU is less than half of the Intel counterpart! Now we have to wait until March 2nd for the real numbers to roll out. I also can see retailers raising the price if the pre-orders go gangbuster due to the pricing. Hardest part is having all the numbers...

It comes enabled, but it is not full power fail protection. Data at flight that has not been written to NAND is still at risk. Basically PLP means full protection for the dram data.

NZXT X42, X52, and X62 Liquid CPU Cooler Review Roundup

It has been a while since we’ve had a chance to take a look at NZXT cooler, but in the past, we’ve been highly impressed with their products. Quite frankly, there hasn’t been a whole lot of innovation in the CPU cooler market, because it’s just tough to improve on something that’s already awesome. I...

Re: MSI Z270 XPower Gaming Titanium Motherboard Review

You know what I am going to ask next :) So why do they include usb 2.0 in the chipset rather than just usb 3.0/3.1? Just seems foolish to keep old technology floating around out there when the newer tech supports the older tech but the older tech does not support the newer tech. Oh, nothing against...

Re: MSI Z270 XPower Gaming Titanium Motherboard Review

Is there a reason manufacturers still include usb 2.0 ports? I mean usb is backwards compatible from what I understand.... You only have 10x USB 3.0 ports on the Intel Z270 chipset, but you also have 14x USB 2.0 ports. MSI offers 10 USB 3.1/3.0 ports and 7 USB 2.0 ports. So, they are using all 10 U...

AMD’s flagship FX Series processor is the FX-9590 Eight-Core CPU that came out during the summer of 2013. They processors don't even have the clock speeds set nor are they in mass production. No 'real' numbers to give you even if we were able to run more benchmarks on the early samples.
