WC advice for a LanBox Lite
So I built a new system a while back. I put a ton of crap into a tiny case and am fighting heat. While I could put the guts into a bigger case at this point it would be more of a moral victory to get some cooling into it. One of the components is an EVGA 460 GTX specifically: http://www.newegg.com/P...

Re: dvd won't play
Also look up the model numbers of your players that are giving you fits and see if they're compatible with the -R discs.
Just to clarify, the ones that won't play, do they recognize the disc at all and stutter or skip or just flat out won't recognize the disc?

Re: New computer won't start up?
I think you're on the right track looking for something ground related. Look at the bottom of the motherboard and see if there are any long solder points. Something may not have been trimmed off enough and that could be touching the case. Silly question, but what about a short on the PCI express slo...

StarCraft 2 Bug - Vid Cards Being Fried
I haven't been on the game in a few days, so a fix may have already come down from Blizz. Apparently there was an vid card overheating issue caused by the game. Below is the folder/file location that needs to be updated as well as what needs to be populated. Check out the link where there is more in...

Re: Starcraft 2 beta available for everyone?
I received an email from Blizz the other day with a key for the Beta. Got it downloaded on 2 machines but haven't had a chance to play on either yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Re: Identify This Missouri Grass Weed
I found a local mom and pop nursery that does carry SedgeHammer, so I will grab a couple packs and treat my front yard. From what I can see online the .9 Gram packs sell for $10-$12 each. Not sure what they charge locally, but it is worth a shot. Nice, I'll have to look into it now that I know what...

Well that certainly explains a few things. I never could figure out the name of what it was. Wow, that stuff's expensive! Have you checked Ace out yet? I'll let you know if I come up with a cheaper solution.

Re: Identify This Missouri Grass Weed
I have that stuff too. I think it's a wild grass, but not sure what the name is. For me it shows up in the wetter part of the lawn. Good luck getting rid of it. For me it's the worst in August when the rest of my lawn is dying it will be the only thing flourishing.

Re: Question about battery back-up(UPS)
APC is probably your "A" answer. With that said, I have a Belkin that I've been using for a few years without trouble. Also be sure to get one that has AVR (automatic voltage regulation) included as this will help with dips and spikes.

Re: What Spider Did I Just Kill - has orange on the belly??
Yeah, I saw that they had some nasty bites. Just looking at the shape of the body makes me think Hobo. I hate spiders. I've looked at too many pics this morning and now I'm kinda creeped out. For those of you out there who like the woods at night - how many webs have you walked through and felt crap...
