Re: Bootmngr missing!
Thanks for the reply.
Problem now solved
It seems that the bios placed my external usb hdd in number 1 position instead of my raptor drive
Hence the wrong info and inability to install!
Up and running ok on new 600gb raptor with plan to install 300gb as second store.

Re: Intel Bx975xbx2 due for upgrade - - but what ??
Ha, So much for my waiting and see. My sister is visiting from NY and it seemed too much of a temptation to NOT ask her if she might pick up a "Rampage iii formula". So I did not resist and the board is here with me now  Now I have to work out what memory and CPU to fit. Any views on ...

Re: RAID - - setting up on D975XBX2 first time
If you RAID them, they basically turn into one disk drive, and you'd lose half of the capacity of your new 300GB! Woops that wasnt what I had in mind  I really was not aware of that and thought raid was a speedy variation so thank you for your advice 8) I have the 300 raptor hooked up but as...

Re: Power up issue- -board relatted?
Again replying to own post  I am begining to think this may be a power problem although I am not certain. Ive ordered a new supply unit from Antec - - a 750 true blue or something like that  The reason for my thinking this is that the screech seems to come from the 880 gtx graphics/vid c...

Power up issue- -board relatted?
Hi, I recently began to get some faulty non start responses from the switch on my P180. It would fail to engage fully after several attempts and if held in (out of frustration) I got a screech! which made me release it quickly!! I contacted Antec who firstly advised I swap over the switch wi...
