Do a search in http://www.google.com and you will find some posts and or articles about this subject like this one a few months ago. http://www.tgdaily.com/content/view/31621/137/ But I think the Price of CPU's are normally adjusted right before summer and right after usually every three or four mon...

Well not quite! With an Intel Chipset you will top out at 800 MHz for memory and if you over clock about 930 - 1030 MHz is about where it will top out. You have to remember that DDR1066 is running at 533 MHz actual clock frequency and A Intel 1066 FSB CPU is actually running at 266 MHz actual clock ...

Hey thanks for the compliment, I have a ton of them I have not used.
But sad to say many of them would be breaking the rules as they are a bit on the obscene side LOL. But I will change them up from time to time.
And nice to meet you!

Just dont go over the memory maker's rated Voltage and you can always try and run the memory Voltage a bit less then what it's rated at, but they normally suggest the voltage for a reason. In addition, memory that is set or tested at 2.2 Volts will usually be tested at tighter timings just relax the...

I would agree it looks that way and the planning is to release it slowly from what I have seen, but if performance is as good as it looks like it might be demand will drive that I am sure.

Thats true, I should have been more clear in what I was saying I just meant DDR3 in general will be forth comming quickly, but faster speed grades will come quickly after from the looks of things, but I suspect supply and demand will be the bigger issue as with performance DDR2 IC's have been and st...

The Chipset especially for Nforce chipsets seem to run quite hot and if you want to over clock many times the Chipset is over looked. So yes it can have an impact on performance and stability. I replace the stock chipset coolers on all of my systems or at least will make sure its making good contact...

I think there will be more people jumping to DDR3 sooner than did with DDR1 to DDR2, especially if the price keeps falling and the performance keeps jumping up. But time will show all.

I have tested a lot of I975 and I965 MB's and all of them top out about 900-980 MHz for I975 and 940-1030 for I965 with out over volting the chipset and memory, you also need to choose a MB that gives you options to over clock like ABit, ASUS, MSI, or Giga-Byte or the Intel Bad Axe 2 only.
