If I ever find a 30 inch high resolution screen will I need it? It may be heresy to say this here but I d...

OLD
The model you suggest is old. It does not fully support a current motherboard or video card. Note only one SATA line. Asus P5AD2 motherboard will support 15 SATA devices. http://www.thermaltake.com/purepower/W001314.htm This would be a better choice for a new system. http://www.thermaltake.com/purep...

Don’t subject your system to dirty, wimpy power. Buy double the watage you think you need. 600 w is what you want for a new system. Try an Enermax, they are top rated and come with provision for 6 - sata devices and pci express video cards. Here is the one I bought: http://www.maxpoint.com/products/...

Cooler Master Controllers
CPU Magazine reviewed fan controllers. The Cool Drive 6 from Cooler Master did well. You can put a hard drive inside, which uses one fan channel - internal fan. I bought their Aerogate 3: No hard drive, all four channels for case fans. Comes with four temp sensors with alarms and fan rpm. Fans are m...

Panasonic Panaflo case fans
After considerable research it seems these are very good fans – Quiet. They are a little hard to find though, especially the three wire versions. I found them here at a good price:

1066 won't revolutionize performance
I delayed my motherboard purchase for the 1066FSB Intel i925XE and now it looks like they are staying with 800 for the near future, 64-bit instead.

Asus P5AD2-E Premium
I purchased this board and it looks great. However I haven’t been able to use it since the video card – ATI X800XL, power supply – Enermax Noisetaker 600w, ram - Corsair and hard drives – Maxline III 300GB are all on backorder. Also note that the included SATA cables are only 18 inch, and not long e...
