Re: Multiple GPU (non-SLI): Anyone Else Seen This?

i guess it is the 9800GX2 since it is like a SLI in one card and the driver is having issues with it maybe ?!

Re: RivaTuner wont keep fan speed after standby mode

the warning u r getting with version 2.22 is normal since it was released prior to drivers 181.22 so it won't recognize it , however, fan control should work nevertheless.
Anyway, Rivatuner version 2.24 is out now with bug fixes, try it maybe it will work.

Re: Recommendations for a HTPC

One more thing, unless you are gaming, the 780G's IGP is plenty. So don't waste money on a dedicated graphics card for running 1080p. I have a 780G on my HTPC and it has a very slight stutter to it... If you have a 50+ inch 1080P I suggest adding in a card like a passive Radeon HD 4670. Thanks for ...

Re: Cryostasis Tech Demo - My PhysX Test

Hmmm interesting.. i was thinking of getting a 9600GT for PhysX and save my GTX280 for video.. After seeing your results, i am having doubts.. Maybe it is better to save the money :)

does those fix the Unreal 3 powered engine games crash on vista x64? i am having problems with my old 8800Gtx and those games since forceware 178.xx

edit: i've read on other forums that they may fix this issue, hopefully they will do :)

Re: Recommendations for a HTPC

Thx for the guide and advice. and yes i am leaning towards a 780G right now (i don't plan on gaming or heavy 3D so the IGP will do just fine)
and thx for wishing me luck :)

Re: Startup Issue - Blinking Power LED

i had the same problem a long time in one of my system, in my case it was the PSU who suddenly decided to not deliver enough power to start the CPU!

Recommendations for a HTPC

Hi I am looking into building a HTPC for the living room to replace the old dead VHS video recorder but i need recommendations from the experts here since i never built one before (only desktop pcs). Well, obviously, the case should be compact (not much space available in the room) and if it has a s...

Re: What do you guys think?

GTX280 SLI on a quality 750w is fine.. i don't think they will draw more than 600W of power (in reality it should be less)

Re: Is there a video converter to 360 format?

Another vote for MeGUI.. there is also XVID4PSP v5. easy to use and can convert to various format supported by various consoles (phones, 360, psp, PS3 etc..)
